Our Practice
About Attorney Steven S. Bloom
Steven S. Bloom, Esq. has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1985 and was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1986. He has been licensed to practice in the State of Rhode Island since 1988. Mr. Bloom practices in the areas on medical malpractice, personal injury law, secured transactions law, civil litigation, tort law, contract law, corporate law, and organization of newly formed corporations and corporate acquisitions.
Attorney Bloom also practices real estate law, which comprises a significant portion of his practice. He has represented numerous banks, lending institutions, developers, buyers and sellers in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has a special interest and concentration in affordable housing matters. Attorney Bloom is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and approved title insurance agent with a major title insurance company. He has drafted affordable housing documents which been approved and utilized by the BRA (BPDA), CHAPA, DND, AHT, and the DHCD. Attorney Bloom has lectured on issues of real estate law and has rendered numerous legal opinions on affordable housing matters for a major Boston-area bank.
Mr. Bloom also handles corporate and business matters, including the start-up and acquisition of businesses.
